DSG,

Hall getting off that hit on McGuire in that final as far as Im concerned was one of the biggest, if not, the biggest farces in AFL/VFL tribunal history and that is coming from an outsider.

Yeah but Judd getting cleared of eyegouging when the evidence was there for all to see runs close.

Silvio Foschini restraint of trade saga.

Plenty Sydney involvement in that one!

We acquired Paul Morwood and Silvio Foschini in ... round 4/5? ... and played them without a clearance. Neither wanted to play for Sydney.

Silvio went to court and Morwood just ran out from memory.

He did, Prelim final 2005 and 2 weeks ago when DalSanto was "swallowing" his arm, became near unconcoius and gave away afree kick. He protected is he?

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

The game that Morwood and Foschini debuted for the Saints was, unless I'm very much mistaken, the debut also of one A Lockett

So if we all agree that the Club should go further on what basis does the Club take it further ?
What are the appeal avenues ?
None exist under the AFL Rules so what are they ?
Seems to be a lot of baying for blood but not a lot of real world thinking on how it gets done

no legal eagle either
just noting everyone jumping on the Club to do something but what that is it ? I haven't seen anyone but anything logical across the table

The only option once the AFL RUles are exhausted is to abandon those rules and go to the courts. But on what basis ?

7 WEEKS... HELLO... are you guys awake? Farmer's cred rose with his statement... good on him. The tribunal refusing to hear Farmer's letter is absolutely stupid.

Lawyer.. Your Honer we have some important evidence pertaining to this case we'd like to put forward". Judge... "No sorry, evidence taking hours are over.... I sentence this man to death"

7 WEEKS!!! How do you reckon Bakes feels? This guy has risked life and limb even when the outcome of a game has been decided. He never gives up. Bakes is the icon of what I feel it is to be a Sainter. He deserves better from us fans than... maybe this'll spur us on. To what?... a couple of hollow finals appearances? With out Bakes?

Tonights decision by the AFL effectively ended my interest in this year. The only slim chance of any further interest I can see is if somehow the Pies make the GF. Another loss by them would warm my heart... a little. Saints are done and dusted. Not the players... I love them but they are not playing on a level field.... the AFL winds are continually blowing against us in the final quarter.

I knew we were in trouble when Dimwit took over... I just didn't realize how bad it could be.

I'll end with... 7 fk'n WEEKS!!! 4 WHAT???
AOK, i have wanted to post something along them lines myself all night... I am still very p*ssed off about the whole thing and just didn't know how to put in words what i was thinking.... your rant is welcomed

Yes well articulated AOK...this has cast a dark shadow over the whole game...just impossible to feel the same about it from this farce forward

A tragedy that Bakes may have played his last game beside Harves for what reason??????

Would be disappoimnted if he hooked Farmer but to be wiped out for stopping and blocking give us a feaking braek!!!!

Will not feel the same about the game possibly ever!!!

Gutted and bloody numb :x

I am far from not happy with the 7 weeks. Yet it's now time to move on. We have a huge game this weekend. We really need to be up & firing.

We should keep a mental note of the disgracefull hand out to Baker... It's about time the AFL looked after the older clubs, not the new clubs.

I am tipping we will win by 21 points.
