Let's hope they're taking a couple of different planes - a Munich-style disaster would be just the sort of thing that happens to the Saints.

and one last Diary entry- after another hike
http://www.saints.com.au/tabid/5315/def ... sid=152342
I’ve been in the AFL system for 12 years now and I’ve done pre-seasons in plenty of different ways, but this was up there as the hardest physical challenge I have ever had to go through.

I have never seen the boys so exhausted after a run, and this was obviously the peak of our camp, both in intensity and in height.

After returning to the hotel I got thinking about what I have gained from this camp. Obviously the sports science side of it has been mapped out in great detail but what isn’t so easily measured is the team bonding side of things.

You learn a lot about your teammates that you might not have known in our normal routine back home.

I’ve been rooming with Jay Lever, who I’ve got to know particularly well over the past two weeks.

Jay’s 11 years younger than me so there’s a bit of a generation gap but we have plenty in common. He’s taught me quite a bit about what young people are into now. I’ve only just joined Twitter and he’s taken me through how that all works - I tell you what, it definitely is a different world.

Another young bloke I’ve got to know pretty well is Jackson Ferguson. The other day we were alongside each other on our early morning hike and we spent a bit of time swapping stories of spending our childhoods on farms

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
As much as I have loved this trip I’ve got to admit I’m hanging to get back home. We’re flying out tomorrow and I can’t wait to see my wife and my son again after two weeks.

He says temporarily living with his teammates has helped him form new friendships at his new club.

“That’s definitely one of the advantages. I’ve just been traded to the club and I get to spend two weeks away from home as a tight group and it definitely fast tracks getting to know the boys,” Dennis-Lane said.

The softly-spoken 24-year-old said he has been welcomed to the Saints group and had quickly found a circle of friends.

I loved milney's cheeky comment at the end of Big Milne on Campus part 2. "no news is good news, so we've been well behaved"...oh and was it just me who had nightmare flashbacks after the two college girls who did know the saints said they'd been hanging out with some of the 22yo (young) guys. Thankfully neither was named Kim.

and the video links
part 1

part 2 http://www.saints.com.au/multimedia/tab ... fault.aspx

abviously the team are aware of not creating an international incident- with Milney's comments
but guessing going via the physics building was't going to get much comment.

Boys have gotten through the Salt lake Stop over

and the LA stop over

seen enough of Virgin lounges

and into the last leg-- Rest up guys- training again on Monday.
