We are still paying for the last time we dared say anything.......jonesy wrote:Dal Santo gets smacked in the head- no free, then mumford gets a gift.
Anyone want to scan over the past 5 games and comment on the umpiring we have received?
Do the GT comments in the sky still linger?

How was the Ross holding the ball after the one Armstrong got a free fir that is just blatant cheating.

If Stanley was the ruckman then that is allowed all day long. He was 1 metre away from him before the ball up. I think Macca was the third man up in that one.MC Gusto wrote:Stanley blocked him and about three saints rucked. The free was there

No forwards forwards except for Nick, putting their hands up.
Very ordinary disposal all night, but effort was very good
Saunders, Wright, Ross and Murdoch all did enough to keep their spots next week.
Kosi will be very lucky to get to 200 games on tonight's performance, but saying that Lee was ordinary as well

I'm quite proud of the boys. They showed some heart. Could have been a blowout at the hands of the '12 Premiers... but the loss was quite dignified.
When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

Nice wolf by the way Kate . It seems we get dished up the raw prawn every time by the umps ....I can't work it out ..I put it down to being a one eyed fan on a losing team and when your losing every umpire decision is critical and if it goes against us you feel like ripping the umpires head off. , if I don't believe that then unfortunately I think the game is controlled by the afl and I don't want to think that or I'll give it away.

Re: Match Thread v Sydney in NZ !!
Umpires missed some obvious free kicks to Sydney's forward line players, so it evened up over the night. However, we were creamed by the umps against Richmond and copped a few shockers against the Peptides.
