Curious to know how you guys know about the travel plans of someone you don't know? Is it in the media?

Not a coincidence. Armo Dusty and Fisher are as thick as thieves.
100% planned meet-up in Bali.

Have never even looked at Twitter. Help me out here Kel.
Do you mean that Dustin Martin tweets that he's going to Bali on Monday? And if so, how do you know about it?

Pretty much

He says he's going Monday...

Armo tweets a pic of him & fish there now.

They may leave before he arrives.

Still, joined at the hip those two.

Oh lord. Twitter is aptly named. For twits. You excepted of course.

But really, it's a step along from FB isn't it. Maybe I'll post a pic me brushing my teeth and making my bed, just so everyone knows.

So B1 & B2 are on holidays with Rat in a Hat. Are they currently sharing one brain?

SW says to B1 & B2- "don't go to USA with Martin".
"OK, we won't go to US with Martin!"
If they meet him in Bali, this is wrong.
Both should play first 3 games next year in VFL.
Or maybe do 100 hrs community service at a drug rehab clinic for punishment.

Yeah look, forgive me for asking the stupid questions of the elderly and uninitiated, but how do you know what they tweet? Do you sign up to their tweets? Is that what 'following' someone is?

Dude, I've never even looked at Twitter - so can't comment from experience - but it seems to me to be utterly pointless. Just more inane media content to fill your head with.
Like people posting on FB, "Sitting at the beach" or anything random like that. Why the F*** is it necessary to tell everyone? Can you not just be there and enjoy it without having your head stuck in your phone/iPad/whatever? A product of the instant gratification generation IMO..........so addicted to their 'devices' that they can't be present in the moment....

Been in London these past few weeks and the number of people who've bumped into me because they're texting or doing something with their bloody phone.........

I hate that. I've seen people cross the road while looking at their phones and not bothering to look up. I'm sure people have been run over/injured and there was one report of a promising dancer/ballerina in Sydney who got killed recently because she was distracted crossing the road when using her smart phone. What a waste.

I love this time of year when daylight saving ( or 'fake' time as I call it) starts in other states, and all the whingers up here start, well, whinging! f*****' hilarious.

The ironic thing is most are ex pat. Vic's. They don't realise it is ok down there but not up here. And they have never experienced what it's like in a hotter climate - totally unnecessary.

It's all good and I love reading their whinges

Didn't you guys try daylight savings once? I think you had to give it arse because everyone's curtains were fading due to the extra hour of sunlight.

Yeah we had it in 1991 and 1992. I was living in Cairns at the time and it was absolute s***! I know that logically there's no extra heat or whatever but Cairns in summer is f****** hot! The mornings were worse because if there was a lot of cloud cover, it might still be dark at 0630 am! Ridiculous!

Anyway, those two crap summers were the catalyst for the referendum in 1993. I remember being at a restaurant that night for a work do, and the news came through that daylight saving had been rightfully f***ed off. The whole restaurant burst into applause, and strangers were high fiving each other. That's how much it was hated up north.
