In one week, week 8 of the silly season, week 3 of the Noosa hub, the week we played Adelaide and Port at Adelaide oval within 6 days of each other, this team just put 2 significant hoodoos to rest.
We won't play Nth or Freo again this year. I'm sure those losses aren't keeping anyone awake at night this week.

Maybe it is those loses that are keeping me awake.
We saw it again in the 3rd quarter against both Port and Sydney.
The ball locked within one kick of our defensive 50 and no way of escape for almost the entire quarter.
Only the opposition goal relieved the pressure.

We need to find a way to escape through the opponents forward press before we play in the finals.

I feel like we need to take the opposite approach to what we are currently doing. At the moment, when opponents lock it in,we seem to want to slow it down and then kick it long to a contested pack up the wing. We need to move it fast, and take on a few opponents and break enemy lines.
