And with Cox standing 200 cm tall, Benny would've had plenty of material to work with! A plethora of c**k jokes would've sprung forth.

And Riolli ffs.
And Armo over Jack Riewoldt. Cripps over Darling. As Dr. Smith from Lost in Space used to say, "Oh the pain!"

Spot on to both of you cwrcyn and Saynta. Imagine Dangerfield and Rioli in the 2009-10 GFs. Instead of Eddy and McQualter. Throw in Jack Riewoldt for good measure. Two flags gone through poor drafting. What makes it worse was that those players were closely considered but rejected, just like Jack Darling. Sliding doors, eh?

Top 10 pick = definitely go for best available.

Top 10 to 20 = probably still the case.

But by the time you get to our pick in the late twenties the difference in the ranking of our potential players will probably be a bee's-dick and in such circumstances if our amongst those several players one suits our needs better I would go for that player. ie Tall key defender, or fast burst away inside mid......and not so much any young ruck that may still be there.
