Steele, Marshall and Howard probably shade him so far this season as best players.
Certainly top half dozen but there in lies the problem. We need other players to surpass him. Seb being in our top 4 mids is an issue, Seb being in our top 4 players is a bigger issue.
I genuinely want Seb to be in our bottom 6, not out of the side, only then will we be a genuine Premiership threat.

Seb is a starting mid in any team in the AFL.
He wasn't starting for us against Hawthorn. He took Hills spot on the wing & played very well. I doubt he'd start for Richmond, West Coast, the Bulldogs, Geelong even add GWS, Gold Coast, Fremantle, Essendon, Carlton.
He will rotate through there but is not a starting mid. His spread from the wing & two way running last Saturday suggests he's got his spot, defensively & linking up.
I like Seb, I did comment on here we should package Seb, Bruce and Lonie together and try to get a few picks and spend big on Treloar.
Obviously that was never going to happen but Treloar has significantly outplayed Seb in 2021.
Seb has consistently worked hard and over the years had poor return in disposal to advantage as well as almost no scoring - which sucks for a midfielder.
His efficiency is better and his connections with disposal are definitely more meaningful in 2020 & 21.
