Coaches have extremely decent hair compared to the population. How many receding hairlines do you see? Jeans was challenged, as was Mathews but it is rare.

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Matthews
Plugger
Dunstall
Baldock
Bartlett
Gary Ablett Sr
Gary Ablett Jr
Chris judd
Jesulenko

Could pass for a top ten of all time list.

All bald.

And I'm claiming Wayne Carey too. Don't know what's going on there.

Ha Ha. There would be scores of AFL coaches who wish they had "failed" like Lyon.

Having said that, whether he is the right man for Carlton, not so sure. They will certainly be harder to beat, good list, so it will be interesting.

That's been proven, twice.
A lot more than twice, it is more the norm than not. A prolonged run in finals often leads to an ageing list with limited opportunities to regenerate, due to a lack of decent draft picks, the team being settled with minimal changes, etc. So the team drops down the ladder for a period. Geelong seem to be the consistent exception, but they have some advantages.

How about them accepting that the side is still in a development stage and finished exactly where the footy world expected them to.

And Lyin says that there is a smear campaign being waged against him....chickens coming home to roost.

As the missus said, if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, waddles like a duck......Lyin certainly waddles. Walks like he has a stick rammed up his arsehole.
Great imagery there, Saynta.

Agree
65% win ratio
Better than love child GTs
Failed coach still in demand?
Bitter and twisted old people I think with silly little snide comments
Agree though still not convinced he’s right for Blues
