Well, that takes a lot more time+money, and endless hours of study. To be accepted into the club of Ortho Surgeons (FRACP or something?)

In contrast, to be accepted into *this* forum,
all you need is
- a PC or internet-capable phone
- access to the internet
- ability to string 3 words together
- a minimum of 2 working fingers or other method of tapping keys
- ability to answer 'which famous Brownlow-winning Sainter wore #35'

Medical Degree takes

6 years (or 4 as a post grad)
1 year as an intern
4 further years (on job) to become Fellow of the RACGP (passing 2 major exams)
Orthopaedic Surgeon the same amount of time to specialise.
