Maybe it was knee - it was degenerative and career ending though!

No doubt he’s had a full replacement now!

We pick Judd

We probably don’t end up with Goddard as we wouldn’t have finished 2nd last in 2002

And so on

Ball was a good selection (Judd a great one!)

Ball got injured, never the same

Imo
The strange selection was David Armitage over Jack Riewoldt

Armo - good player
Jack R - certain premiership in 09/10
Didn’t Ball first do his groin chasing Judd out of the Centre square?

Not sure but there will certainly be some posters doing a groin looking at that red dress

But hey it didn't happen
If Ball hadn't spent the last quarter growing moss on the bench in the 2009 GF we would have our 2nd by now.

The rest is just navel gazing.
LMAO
Now we lost 09 cause Luke Ball was gonna save us
He couldn’t run out of sight on a dark night or kick 30 by the end
I’ve heard some revisionist dribble on this site but this is right up there :D

Yes but we had “training services dept” from grants corporate KPI cookbook to manage them...and a Russian weight loss ditetician to help out on weekends..

Shame we didn't have the "Russian" strength and conditioning team that were at Geelong and then at Collingwood and finally at Essendon

Teflon

I’ll give you Ball - he was desperate to play, and the club wanted him out there
Shouldn’t have played with bad groins

But the rest were footy impact injuries

Not sure wtf GT could have done about that
X.Clarke - ACL
Maguire - Broken leg
Hamill - knee injury from polaxing Stevie J
Penny - Knee Cartlige tear
Kosi - Head injury from clash
Fergus Watts - Broken Ankle
Barry Brooks - ACL
Montagna - Broken Ankle
Hayes - ACL
Dal Santo - 13 weeks corked thigh

I mean seriously

That’s just bad luck in footy!

Again u miss the point
Even Harvey had soft tissue problems under Thomas
He also played injured players in prelims dumb move
Didn’t invest in good fitness n conditioning
Lyon did brought in Misson and made an enormous difference
Some of its luck some of its management but don’t tell me poor GT just had bad luck for 3-4 years cause that’s bs

GT talking about Training Services had the media bamboozled, that is one of the highlights of my lifetime of disappointment following the Saints.

A club that has perfected the art of disappointment.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
