Honestly I congratulate Selwood on a great season and a well deserved award.

However didnt anyone see Gilbo not getting a vote comming? Really what does winning the Rising Star award actually get you? I know Sammy Gilbert is a star in the making and everyone who has watched a St Kilda game this year will probably know that too, the people who selected the AA squad obviously know it.

Regardless if he is the Rising Star or even if he gets a AA nod he is still going to be a great player for us.
