Hard to know the psych of football players and their administrators who are already guaranteed a top four finish.
Externally, they say they fear no one and that it's irrelevant who they play week one of the finals. Ie, Malthouse.
I agree, it should be irrelevant who you play, as if you're going to be the best, you'll have to play and beat anyone who is also challenging for the right to be called the best.
While I'm sure the Pies are confident they are able to put us to the sword on Sunday, it was interested to see the extra angst that Malthouse vented right on the sound of the final siren. I'm not a psychologist, it could just be frustration with his team as a whole, but my gut tells me that even he was still a bit scared at the prospect!
Either way, it's irrelevant to us. We are the minor premiers, embarking on a campaign for our second flag. While many of us have butterflies in our stomach and have concerns about our recent form slump, bear in mind that we top team. They should fear us!
Until we have an administration that demands success and a playing group that bleeds for the guernsey, St. Kilda will just be a sh*tty football club.

If you dont think it's significant that the filth were desperate to at least lose by less than 22 points and avoid playing us, and that that knowledge gives us an advantage then good luck to you.
