The Jiggster had a "Zen-like" calm about his person   throughout the whole game...d'you believe me?
Strangely enough Folks, I was as calm as I've ever been during that last 1/4 but when the siren went? I could not stop dancing! I have sore ankles and my knee has come up like a balloon! I was bopping in the aisles with my kids and grandkids and at one stage I thought I would keel over my head became so light!

You folks in the Ponsford were AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(the rest of you were pretty damn good too!!!!!!!)

Love to all

Dave

You guys have said it all...twas the most tense encounter i have ever watched.

Each side gave everything it had.

For me, the 4th down to the 3rd last minute seemed to go on for ever...we were 1 0r 2 points up and there were ball ups and out of bounds galore.

the tension only broke when Roo toe-poked through that last goal, and then we small knot of Sainters watching live in a bar in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) went ballistic.

My only regret was sitting in M2 behind the Dogs cheers squad meant I had only a few small pockets of Saints fan to share the ecstasy with at the end...

Like the Jiggster I had a real sense of belief that the players would find a way to win. Felt it before the game, during the first quarter when we couldn't get our hand on the ball, and even during the last quarter when the dogs hit the lead. There's been something different about this entire season compared to other years. The cards keep falling our way, the boys keep finding a way to win. Just have to do it one more time.

Opinions are like arseholes, everybody's got one.

around half time or three quarter time (cant remember)
Aok says to me 'what ya reckon...no worries?'
'we should' i replied (or something along those lines)
we both could see that we were nervous just by looking each other in the eyes.
shesh what an ending
