He would speak to his wife and kids like that, I have no doubt.

There's no other person in football I would rather listen to.

I just love the cheeky smile... you can tell that he has confidence in his group and club right now. There is no smugness that sometimes comes out of bomber and his down to earth style must win most over.

I love it during after match interviews where someone makes a good point regarding what happened in the game and rossy will say "yeah good observation, it was........". Seems to have a healthy respect for those who ask good questions but if you say something stupid (like when we played the crows and a reporter asked "so you started slowly this week......") he jumps on you straight away. Very happy he is the face of the club.

I love a bit of a dry sense of humor and a tinge of sarcasm. The dip s*** journalists don't know if he's laughing with them or at them.

Daughter: Dad, Mrs Jones won't let us play footy at lunch.

Ross: Get a few of your mates to hit her up about it, you need to use the out-number.

Daughter: We've tried that dad, we still can't get any entries.

Ross: Just stick to your structures, it will turn. It always does. ;)

Daughter: It's not though, dad.

Ross: Well, your mum's in a bit of space, hit her up for advice. Parenting is about the collective efforts of two parents, not one individual.

Lyon will become a legend after he coaches St. Kilda to a flag.

Now he is a good coach who can handle himself and the media.
