The 2nd of Buddys last quarter goals....GOTY for sure so far..I called it so as it went through, much to the horrr of my mate who cant stand Buddy and therefore he's not alllowed to do anything good ever lol. Confirmed when I saw the replay and realised how hard against the boundary he was....couldnt really tell at first as I was in the AFL Members right over the other side of the ground

Sometimes you just have to take the Saints blinkers off..that goal was just something else.

You don't see one's like Buddy's all that often, that's for sure, excellent goal(s). Reminds me of Aussie Jone's in the '97 GF a bit. However, Milne's has never been done before, may never be done again...absolutely brilliant snap decision, co-ordination, footskills, you name it. If he didn't snap through a 60 degree angle goal once every 3-4 games, you'd call it a fluke (and I'm sure many opposition supporters would).

Still, Adam McPhee kicked the goal of the century (from the boundary, 40m out, off one step, whilst being smashed backwards) IMO last year, I don't even think he was nominated for goal of the week!

None were from the boundary running away from direct opponent. Add in the fact that he is about 196 tall and it has never been done. Neither has Milney's but for sheer class you have to go with Buddy's. IMO cant compare them.

It is when I am saying i have never seen that type of goal before. How many CHF or FF kick a goal like that?

Couldn't care less who wins the GOTY.

For mine, Milne's remains the most amazing goal I've ever seen. I can see others preferring Buddy's thought.

Buddy's goal was a stand up and cheer kind of goal. Milne's was a sit down and shut up kind of goal. Pick your poison, it's pretty amazing what some of these guys can do.
