I never played in a flag team in my footy career so to see the saints finally win number 2 will be awesome.

Then I'll be able to face each footy season with no pressure and anxiety, and can actaully enjoy a few more games.

oh and many thanks to hsvking 84 (Aaron) for fixing up my registration. :D
Welcome aboard stevie :D

IF we won one (having of course won a prelim first to get the chance) I would happily live through the Gold Coast five-peat with a wonderful glow about me...

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Assuming we can do the job against the Dogs to get in a position to try once again I promise I would become a rational sane supporter and wouldn't care what happened for the next 2 years at least :D

I remember the last one, and I was three years and ten months old. That's how fkn huge it will be.

*Allegedly.

I thought about this a lot last year as I only arrived in Australia in 77 so missed the first one (although have watched is a few times) as wondered if it would lesson my love for footy, even at the beginning of this year after the GF loss last year I felt a bit more subdued but I think winning will become addictive.... not sure if I will ever come back for the game after being there this year but we will see.
