They've been pretty aggresive but I'm not convinced they've picked up much. Sherman can be damaging but goes missing far too often. And Djerrkura's played something like four games in four years. I'd rather invest more game time into Jack Steven and Nick Heyne.
100% agree
that could be becuase the cats have had 2 premierships in 4 years.

Djerrkura to Bulldogs
Geelong has agreed to trade small forward Nathan Djerrkura to the Western Bulldogs for a third round draft pick.
Recruited with selection No.26 overall in the 2006 national draft, Djerrkura managed four senior appearances for the Cats in his four years with the club including just one in 2010.
"Nathan thought that he would get some greater opportunities at another club, and we understand his point of view," said Geelong football manager Neil Balme.
"The Bulldogs offer was a fair one and we wish Nathan well and thank him for his efforts while he was here."
"He is a fine young man and we hope that he can get an opportunity to play more regularly with the Dogs."
Djerrkura's manager George Haros said there was trade interest from several clubs but the Bulldogs were top of his client's list.
"It was obviously a tremendous time to be part of the Geelong footy club and he certainly developed strong friendships and he was privileged to play with some tremendous players," Haros told Trade Week Radio.
"But the lack of opportunity has been difficult for him to deal with and he's looking forward to a fresh start with the Bulldogs."
"He's very good at tackling and the defensive forward pressure that he can apply together with his strength will really add some bite to the Bulldogs forward line."

It's not due to the Replay Grand Final at all, it was announced the AFL were extending to Monday during the year. For a number of reasons. Gold Coast being heavily involved was one. Clubs wanted it longer also.johnpeterbudgefanclub wrote:Not today.
Next Monday at 2 p.m. due to the GF.

Well in previous years Trade Week has gone Monday through Friday. This year is is going Tuesday through Monday. 5 days vs 7 days. Pretty sure that's longer. Was originally set to go Monday through to Monday, but pushed to Tuesday due to the GF replay.johnpeterbudgefanclub wrote:Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but trade week started on Tuesday. Just correcting. Nothing worse than people passing information as fact when it is simply NOT fact. Problem with that?FQF wrote:who cares?

A much better time too.johnpeterbudgefanclub wrote:Not today.

It means clubs have a clear weekend to agree to trades ahead of the closing day.
If Collingwood can't find a decent player to trade to Fremantle for Tarrant they will clearly have retained the alternate name of Cheatingwood.
