Its is obvious to any thinking person that Blake is not being overpraised on this thread.

It was a thread to congratulate a player that despite the naysaysers and armchair critics who insult him as ordinary, the guy has survived four coaches, countless positional changes and is now entering his 12th season on an AFL list.

Considering most AFL careers average three seasons, IMHO and any fair supporter of the STKFC would believe that it is only right for him to be congratulated.

But apparently some self appointed posters on here believe that we should never start a thread about anyone who is not an out and out superstar.

Blake outlasting coaches has nothing to do with it. Riewoldt had 4 different coaches in 4 games so that must make him a superstar...oh wait...he is...

That aside, the praising of a gop is a pandemic in the supporters culture. The collective has to praise something and considering we are an apparent strong 'team/bubble/saints footy/codwash' some see fit to praise the working man's hero as we are a workmanlike team now...

Good last point too, saying that Jason Blake has achieved more in sport than an armchair critic. Well duuurrrrr....
