I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Sainter_Dad wrote:Guys and Girls - A habit is creeping in of people not voting 5,4,3,2,1. I have to re-write my routines everytime this is done - can we please limit it to standard voting. It wont be long before people name 15 players and give them all 1 vote, or even 22 players getting 3/4 of a vote. I know that it is hard to pick just 5 some games - but these cute little permutations of 5,3,2,1,1,1,1,1 do not have an impact on the final tally very often. Also voting for Tommy Walsh has just wasted someones 5 votes.
If you want to recognise players not in your top 5 (that is top 5) please give honourable mentions or bad lucks.
hey thats a bit unfair.... Just like Walsh i forgot he wasnt on our list anymore!!!!!

Does it really matter if folks give 7 or 8 players votes - sometimes it's very hard to fit voting into a strict 5-4-3-2-1 format.Sainter_Dad wrote:Guys and Girls - A habit is creeping in of people not voting 5,4,3,2,1. What do you mean by 're-write my routines' ? All you have to do is add up surely.....

On the flip side, if someone's prepared to devote their time to keeping the scores then perhaps it's not too much for us to accede to that person's wishes if it makes their life a bit easier.MCG-Unit wrote:Does it really matter if folks give 7 or 8 players votes - sometimes it's very hard to fit voting into a strict 5-4-3-2-1 format.Sainter_Dad wrote:Guys and Girls - A habit is creeping in of people not voting 5,4,3,2,1. So how many hours do you think it takes to write each player down, tot them up and then re-check them. People doing more than 5 votes and quoting others votes in an attempt to argue just drives my program nuts!MCG-Unit wrote:Does it really matter if folks give 7 or 8 players votes - sometimes it's very hard to fit voting into a strict 5-4-3-2-1 format.Sainter_Dad wrote:Guys and Girls - A habit is creeping in of people not voting 5,4,3,2,1. Sorry SD, I'll try and keep it normal.
