Re: Geary
He was great but he missed a few kicks around the corner and little snaps that he really should have scored from. But then again, Joey is probably one of the best at those and he missed a very easy one.

Re: Geary
I think you're all being pretty hard on a guy who just played in the midfield for the first time? The point is that he was there - and if he is now going to train as a midfielder then he'll have every opportunity to train those aspects of his game. Exciting development in the midfield for mine. Hope he builds really strongly from here. Thought he added alot!
Sam Gilbert you are an EXCITEMENT MACHINE!

Re: Geary
Yeah well we've only been saying move him to the guts for the last two weeks.
Did I see him in there for the first bounce? Or had he run in off the wing?
Did he play there (center) just because Murphy had the on ball role?
Will he be in the middle next week?

Re: Geary
Geary used to play with our reserves as a mid a lot, and use to rack up a lot of the ball. So he has experience as a mid, and can play the role.karnak wrote: on a guy who just played in the midfield for the first time? !
Finding it has never been his problem. Using it well under pressure is. Let us hope in time that he can improve that aspect of his game. If so it would make him the complete package. If not then he will be CJ Mark 2. Let's hope that he becomes the next Bourkey instead.
