Crouch was the guy I wanted instead of Dunstan but Dunstan has been way better than I expected so not unhappy. Crouch will get about 30 every week but 10 will come off the side of his boot. Dunstan is very clean and poised.

Although I'm not fussed if he gets a RS nom for Satdee night (even though I think, if he plays most of the year, he'll probably win it, because he's the best 'footballer' out of the likelies), he did poll votes in The Age for Satdee night. Crouch didn't.

And, as these things go, Jack's had an awful lot of positive coverage after Satdee night.

Billings 1st GOAL sweet indeed

Post: # 1453063Post Megamaguire »

That first goal on the move and on a bit of an angle seemed like something new happening for this team. It caused me to think of the Aussie Jones goal in the grand final of 97 - Aussie ran a lot more (from memory) but Jack's finish was top shelf l thought.
Oppo teams are going to be keeping a closer eye from now on but it's acts of inspiration like this that will catapult the Saints beyond gloomy predictions that were circling before AR took the reins.
I found it hard to single out individual examples of brillient play but this one was easy.

28 touches not a bad effort.

not this week either for Jack-
Congrats Brisbane's James Aish as the rd6 #NABAFLRisingStar for his 23 possession effort in the 3-point win over the Saints in Wellington.

Was his if he hit the goals and we won. Fair enough that Aish got it, played a good game and got the win. Only a matter of time before Billings gets one, I'm sure he hasn't played his best game for the year yet.

Mark it down

Kade Kolodjashnij will win the Rising Star.

Thats two in a row for GC and they still have Jack Martin to come.

GC are going to be unbeatable maybe as soon as next year.

The game live on free to air. In the daytime, the Adelaide Oval looks incredibly like the G!
