Watching the game on TV

A couple of things are pissing me off

The state of a VFL ground... It like a suburban ground, and not a good suburban ground

The overuse of the footy, especially forward

The stk players getting beaten easily one on one... Murdoch, Coughlin, White and a few others

Players slipping over... I hate that
And untidy handballs.. Which is just friggin lazy... The disposal of Saunders and Simpkin, how the hell were they on an AFL list

Shento misses one on da siren 82 to 53 sandys way. Saunders has been doing a bit better today. Eli growing his hair again to get his strength back Samson style. Murdoch been good. Payne and Baker Thomas have both shown a bit too.

Yeah a bit quiet. He's battling away in the midfield. Its why its hard for these smaller guys - they get battered around. The ones that make it tend to have the express burst of pace to give them an edge - Joey, Poppy, Boomer, Steven. Everyone points at Mitchell but he's a freak.

Yeah but its depth sitting in the VFL. YOu need to see how that scales upto AFL.

Sure. But most of the depth I'm talking about has been playing games for our seniors this year and can't hold a spot or force their way back in (even in the face of our recent injuries). Can't say the same for the Blues.

At 188 he's a good size and looks pretty big already for a first year. Looking forward to seeing him after a preseason or two.
