If the answer is yes, then this is a disaster/tragedy.

If the answer is no, then meh.

Where do you get amphetamine shakes from? Springvale station? The car park at Footscray market?

Apparently a lot of that stuff is laced… particularly imported or bought online.

A mate of mine who is a pretty straight family man, but is right into fitness, bought a bucket of one… but then went on to have a crazy weekend of self inflicted boot camp and no sleep for a couple of days… he did some research afterwards and found that the brand he had bought was popping up with amphetamine lacing.

I said hold onto that shiz for next time we have a boys weekend…

I heard Mark Evans (AFL) earlier on 3AW. He was being VERY careful to the point where he wouldn't even confirm that it was Ahmed involved, and this was AFTER Michael Nettlefold made the statement. That tells me that fingers are being pointed straight at the AFL as the source of the leak to Caro. It's Caro's job to fish these stories out but whomever leaked it to her should be named, shamed and SACKED. Demetriou, where are you !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

That's what i was wondering- supposedly she's a pain in the arse yet they run to drop bomb shells at her. I heard a rumour AA was the loose lips at AFL house but since he's gone they can't stop blabbing anything they hear.

Apparently he had the right to be unnamed until the investigation concluded but some one got excited. Did someone want some attention taken away at an opportune time?

Well the guy who was banned from the VFL was drinking something called 'Hemo Rage'… so it must have something nasty in it…

Sounds a little too close to 'Homo Rage' for my liking… starts with a shake, ends with an aggressive male orgy down at the Peel (or somewhere gaystyle-2013)

I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned because I have come in late on it but I heard Dr Peter Larkins on 3aw say Saad had been taking supplements for a while from a business based in Tullamarine.
He had no idea they contain traces of amphetimines.
I can't understand how a player can take anything without running it by the club first ?

It's probably pseudo ephedrine which they make speed out of . It would be off the show if they put the end product in a shake ( literally)

Saad is sponsored by Viking Protein.

From what I've heard he tested positive to dmaa which is the same gear as the VFL player was banned for. It's a stimulant that was found in a lot of pre workout sups until recently when banned.

So yeah he'll be gawn. The full two years IMO.

If thats true then ok he's gawn so be it.

As LONG as those all knowing, scheming, systematic cheating Essendon scum get their 2 years also...

IF they get some lenience buultish and Saad cops full whack then AFL is done for mine.

I want Demetriou talking them out of sanctions just like he did for Essendon players- it's only fair. He is an observant muslim and I doubt he would have knowingly taken banned substances.

Perhaps Bill Kelty leaked it. Anyhting to divert attention away from his very good friend who coaches his favourite football team, James Hird. Interesting that Wilson was given this info the day before Dean Robinson's TV appearance. Coincidence or not????????

Fine
If he was stupid enough to not check the legality of the substance then give him two years.

I then EXPECT,
no DEMAND that 30 Essendon players get the same sentence for their lack of diligence.

f****** Supplements.

The bloody health/nutrition/bodybuilding supplement industry is unregulated.
If you have ever looked at the ingredients list on a normal product...any product at the supermarket, then multiply it by about 50, and then you are approaching the ingredients list on just a normal, run of the mill protein powder.

It is a dodgy industry, it really is. I use a few supps at the moment because I am training, but only a few, very mainstream products. Some of the pre workout stuff is just either a red bull x 10, with 20 coffees worth of caffeine in it or just plain...Speed.

If he got burned by his sponsor he should see them in court.

Shady, shady industry.

Sorry i dont get that at all. I think the last place this leak would come from is the AFL. The last thing they need at this stage is more people taking drugs.

Unsure.

DMAA is very common. It's likely an old tub of pre trainer he had laying around cos any sups with that ingredient were taken off the shelf months ago.

I've used products with that ingredient and really it's not a PED just a stim that gives you an energy boost. The problem is people abuse the F*** out of this sort of gear and use way more than recommended. I recall a while back nightclubs were putting the stuff in shots.

Yep & not to mention sometimes they don't list ingredients correctly on the labels. It's a strange industry.

I don't know about Australia but in the States you can make & sell a supplement legally & only IF someone like the FDA decides to check out your product in their labs & discover you have something sinister in the ingredients - only THEN will they tell you to pull it off the shelves.

Yeah it could have been the original version of Jacked or something similar. My guess would be a pre-workout as well.
