Or maybe some people just want it to be that he has slipped. It might make them feel better or something. Personally for his own sake I actually hope that he is able to stay clean.

just who is throwing accusations around.....

He has never admitted that he has a drug problem. And certainly has shown no remorse. I believe everyone deserves a second chance however his arrogance and inability to admit he has a problem and that his actions were wrong make me believe that he thinks everyone else is wrong and he is right, and that is a real problem.

Maybe I misread but someone up thread said that he looked sick and then came out after half time and was suddenly better and that it was definitely suspicious especially given his reputation.

I am of course paraphrasing. And that probably isn't really an accusation, but it is still a fairly obvious innuendo that because the guy played a vastly better second half than a first (& maybe he had a tummy bug and chucked it with everything else on the side line) that he may have , could have, would have taken something.

I am sorry but I find it hard to always think the automatic worse of people, any people, even those with the reputations of Cousins.

But at the end of the day he was brilliant and that was unfortunate for you guys :? !!!

So why get all personal about it?

I was simply pressing for why you thought he shouldn't be target tested.

See that's the sort of response that will give you cred. Agreeing with low lifes won't.

I understand your position and for the most part I agree. IMO we should be ruthless when it comes to drug testing because we'd be kidding ourselves if we think people won't take the risk and cheat. Look at cycling for evidence of people that will continue to do so regardless of the level of testing.

Cousins made one of the most dramatic performance turn arounds I can remember tonight. It wasn't just that he was playing poorly in the first, it was how he looked. In the second it was chalk and cheese.

I'm simply asking the administrators of this game to do their job.

ENOUGH ABOUT THE DRUGS ALREADY!!!
drugs have nothing to do with tonights game.. get the hell over it...

He was the difference tonight... I absolute love watching Cousins play (expect against the saints) He is just a superstar footy player.
So well drilled, exciting to watch and is just so fit and well built.

We could only dream of having such a talented and game winner like Cousins in our side IMO.

Give credit where credit is due.....Cousins you are a superstar !!

In Ross Get lost!

I am excited to stay at St Kilda and this is a great result for the Club and all our fans. I’m proud to be part of the Saints and am pleased to be playing football with the Clubâ€

I agree with you JD on the testing but I was under the assumption that it was mandatory with every game, or at least randomly at some point throughout the course of every week.

And just to clear my name, if that needs to happen, I have no idea about reputations around here (other than Stinger because he was kind enough to help me out a while back) so it was just the opinion on Cousins I was agreeing with........

WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF THEY HAD FOUND ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES IN CUZZ'S BODY. WHAT IF THEY HAD SUSPECTED HALF-TIME MEDICATION. WOULD WE THEN GET THE 4 POINTS. "FAT CHANCE !!!" WE WOULDN'T EVEN HEAR ABOUT IT.
