I've always loved Mick, top bloke. As for you arseholes that have been bagging him; hang your heads in shame.

I really do hope that he coaches somewhere. I want ed's head to actually explode. Preferably live on tv.

I reckon we should give him 1-3 years at the club, coach us to maybe 1 or 2 GFs, and then nurture one of the assistants to take over him!

Have Milne and Montagna asked for a trade yet.
There is no way they would stay if the Brewery were to join the club.

If he wants to still coach he will take it. He has no other options. the idea that he is valued higher only effects his market value if there is more than one party interested. Alas most other clubs don't want a 75 year old at their club or have recently signed coaches.

I just checked with Australia's largest supplier of disinfectant.

There is not enough disinfectant in Australia to cleanse Malthouse of Collingwood disease..

Received loud and clear.

See below for details.

I couldn't care less who coaches STKFC. They are all overrated.

Is Scott a genius? Was Alan Joyce? Players make coaches.

Really I dont want the coach as a friend, I couldn't care less if he is a lying see you next tuesday, I mean our last two coaches were.

I want them to coach us to a fkn FLAG. Pagan was an arsehole as a coach, but ask a North supporter what he thinks of Pagan?

Dont make too much of personalities. My sig WONT change if MM was out our club in any capacity.

He called Milne a "f##Kin rapist" lied about it got caught out, then compared himself to Winston Churchill FFS

He wont come to ST.Kilda, he only work with the mega rich clubs like WCE or Collingwood.

Lance or James??

The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

from a pr point of view malthouse would do wonders for our club. i'd imagine it would also have a positive impact on membership despite some of the empty threats made on here. as a coach, well his numbers speak for themselves. i want the club to be successful on and off the field. from me it's a big yes.

true, i am one of those that the mere mention of Mm makes a little bit of spew come up in my mouth, but I will still pay up and go to games. I will probably even learn to like him if he gets us a flag.

I'd say there's about a 1% chance of it happening, and I reckon he's overrated, as someone pointed out he's had an enormous machine behind him... But if it did happen I wouldn't think he was any less of a prick until he came out and apologised publicly to Milne... meanwhile you're all falling over yourselves to excuse the old tool before there is even any cred to the story..... oh, and the filth were smart enough to get a water-tight contract.

What would a photo of the look on Eddie's face when he hears the news (if this happens) be worth?

I just heard that he's booked a 6 month holiday to Switzerland for next year, so maybe he'll coach us via Skype, Dean Laidley-style, if true. :D

He's coached flags at the two most powerful clubs in the country.
Coast and the Pies...
Are we really that surprised? Is he really that great a coach?

cant see it.

and I too worry that its another "Blight" type signing......where hes already mentally cooked but the ego and dollars prove to strong.

IF he wanted to talk by all means talk....but in that the reasons he would want to coach St Kilda would want to come across loud and clear.....oltherwise youth.

On trhe positive - membership, marketing, player attractant, his knowledge (he must know something) and ability to perhaps drag in a top assistant/fitness coach would be nice....

On the negative - desire, time/age (I dont mean that stops him doing it.....but at this point does he have the drive to go through a rebuild which we will probably need at some point??)

Hed be good for Seaford...apparently needs a lift....Mick and Nanette down at the local Coles could work wonders...
