Had a stellar 97 season . He got under sides guard that year and with Harvey and Burke running riot,the youngsters jumped on board.

Thought he'd be a 12 year player for us....died in the a**

Jones,Smith and Brown...was an exciting prospect back then..got us very close,but no cigar...rings a bell

Did we let the Gowans twins go at the same time? surely they would of made it in the AFL ?

Exactly. Pace was his big issue. He never had it, and as the game opened up in the early 2000s, he was left behind.

going to be tough for anything but 'Family" names to come into the club in those could of years with a little kosi and who knows how many others with the spate of weddings lately.
