If anyone is going to be in Boulder, I can highly reccomend the Walnut Brewery for refreshments. Top place. I'm from Oregon myself, but I have been to Boulder many times.

Interesting that this trip has not been fully funded but the club - rather the players and staff have kicked in as well.

More high performing athletes have spoken to the Saints
http://www.saints.com.au/news/newsartic ... fault.aspx
ST KILDA players received a special treat when triathlon legend Dave Scott addressed the team at the Millenium hotel in Boulder on Thursday night.

Originally from California, Scott was the first man to win the Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii on six different occasions.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Scott, who now lives in Boulder, also spoke in detail about the fears and motivations that drive elite sportsmen.

He is one of several internationally acclaimed athletes to be involved in the Saints’ high-altitude camp, joining fellow Ironman Trevor Hendy and long-distance runner Benita Willis.

On Sunday, the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be televised on Australia on Network TEN’s One HD channel.

I wonder if we'd manage to see the team in the stands.

Don't feel too bad about having short arms it didn't do the T-rex any harm, well apart from the extinction and all that. Just forget I mentioned anything.

I'M only new to the AFL system so I’m still getting a feel for the different lifestyle that comes with being a professional footballer.

There are plenty of pressures and sacrifices you have to make but there are also some privileged days that I would have never otherwise have had.

Today was one of those days.

A few of us took time out of our training schedules to have a meet and greet with the Denver Broncos. Obviously we couldn’t get our whole 70-man touring party along so we had to limit it to a few and I was lucky enough to have my name literally pulled out of the hat

the Broncs forum is rubbish! no seperate threads for different subjects.

saintbrat, are u sure it said you had to register to check the Niners one? I was just on the Broncs one ok, as a guest.

couple of replies so far - one guy asked if aussie rules was like rugby. I replied no, its highly skilled, etc!!

Another dude laughed at us being called the Saints (New Orleans arent top of the pops in Niner Nation...lol)
