i don't know what playing them below full strength would prove. better to have a crack and see where we are at.

if we were to get over them and not be able to beat the better teams then it says nothing.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

I love cheap wins.

Nothing wrong with getting 4 points from an underdone injury depleted side.

I'm sure we'll return the favour to another team at some point, probably already have, it all evens out.

Cheap wins leave me with a sense of hollow victory, it's the "at full strength with opposition playing at there best" wins that show more about you as a team.

I think it's time to find out where this team is really at - saints are a big question mark in terms of where we are heading. I'd love to know so we can get to where we need to be quicker rather than hang around the middle in no mans land.

Did you watch the match?

Was an amazing comeback.

I don't like them, but I really rate them this year.

The outs will help us though.

watched the last quarter....it was anybody's game...

1.To shove up the smug cheats and
2. Because 4 points is 4 points.

All I want to see is Goddard’s face when we win and all our guys are celebrating! That will be priceless.

Skill level of most Saints is below par. Watching other games, I notice lots of other teams being able to take contested marks much more often than our boys. And other teams kick to 2 vs 1 and can take the mark, our boys can't. Our guys fumble it.
Our guys don't kick well to a lead and seem to dish off to a teammate who has 2 opponents 4 metres away ready to crunch the receiver. The Hawks were able to run forward into space presenting multiple options. Saints don't do that. Goals come thru pure luck not design.

A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤🤍🖤 and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Might be a case for plonking Kosi at FF just one more time to stretch the Dons and run Lee and Maister around the forward line as mobile marking targets..very hard to match up against. Again, this will be a game won in the midfield, and our mids need to have their defensive games working pretty well, as it hasn't been much chop so far.

I'd expect Joey to go to Stanton, maybe Dal can just go head to head with Jobe, win win?
