Re: Membership renewal (2014)
I had a membership in the 80s so this is nothing.
I will still be here with bells on.

Re: Membership renewal (2014)
Was very interested in listening to Gary Pert on radio on the Magpies approaching 80,000.00 members , he was saying a very significant number of Collingwood members are on
***** 3 game membership only***.
Their new promotion was for $50.00 this week that are giving entry to ground , hat & scarf and 1 game membership in return .
Was just thinking Saints should have a membership for " Etihad games only" given they will have about say 8 and offer 3 social club passes for the games free & give
a free Myki Card with $50.00 credit on it with membership packs to get bums on seats(forget the hat /scarf)
What do you think ?

But that would cost $50 straight out of the profit and doubt it would get to many extra members.

Re: Membership renewal (2014)
10 years of membership to this club next year plus 7th year working with the Western Saints , honestly with the roll-over membership I cant see me ever not being a member although the question i wonder is does it help the club more me purchasing two sideline interstate memberships for $50 or one interstate membership for $100 , to me it makes more sence to have two memberships adding to our member numbers when we look at attracting sponsors

Re: Membership renewal (2014)
What the club should be looking to do is create a community spirit amongst members.
There is none at the moment.
Even the social club does not really engender a real community spirit.
A couple of bays in general admission to be allocated to St Kilda members only would be a reasonable start.
A function straight after an afternoon game, if we have any, where all members were invited.
It could even be in the ground say starting half an hour after the game all welcome.
Get a few players, staff and the president to speak.
You could probably get Etihad's caterers to stay open so people can buy food and drink there so it wouldn't need to be too expensive.
Anything to promote some kind of differentiation between us and other clubs.
In the 80s we were the party boys and while we may not have performed that well on the field at least we were different.
In marketing you either need to go head to head with the competition or find some differentiating factor to make your product or brand desirable.
Make us the club that really looks after our members and see our numbers grow.
