One of Boyd/Scharenberg/Billings/Kelly/NDS's 3rd cousin (depending who's there after GWS's first 2 picks) - then two of Dunstan/Crouch/Acres/Marsh.

Anyway, our recruiters will get it right!

All depends on who is available, for example, if Lennon or Sheed was available (no chance), then I wouldn't consider two of Dunstan/Crouch/Acres or Marsh. Of the names you haven't mentioned, I really like Dumont

It seems the majority of Sensational posters have a comprehensive understanding of these kids, I've really got no idea. But I hope we can snare a classy midfielder or two who we can see this season and get excited.

Given our leaning to German names and the fact that he may be ready to go, Scharenberg may be the choice.

The Billings name rings a bell, from memory there was a solicitors office in South Road near Moorabin with that name.

Emma Quayle's predictions:
3 ST KILDA: JACK BILLINGS
(Oakleigh Chargers, 185cm, 76kg)
Clever, dynamic half-forward with a brilliant kick.
THE RATIONALE: At this point, the Saints just need to keep getting good players through the door. Billings is an extremely classy one, with a sharp eye, excellent foot skills and an ability to set the agenda in a game. Should develop into a midfielder before too long.
THE COMPLICATION: The Saints have done plenty of work on Matthew Scharenberg, with James Aish another who has been considered.

18 ST KILDA: LUKE DUNSTAN
(Woodville West Torrens, 184cm, 83kg)
A big-bodied midfielder who is reliable around stoppages. Leader in the making.
THE RATIONALE: Dunstan is a strong, strong-minded midfielder. As a footballer, he's hard to budge at contests and a player who looks after his teammates. Off the field, he would deliver a lot too: if he makes it as a player, he could be a future captain.
THE COMPLICATION: The Saints have been linked to plenty of players at 18 and 19, and will have to wait and see who gets through. They've been linked to Merrett, as well as Billy Hartung and both are big chances to get to the Saints. Blake Acres would have to be looked if available too.

19 ST KILDA: ZAK JONES
(Dandenong Stingrays, 183cm, 76kg)
A competitive, combative midfielder, whose ball use improved sharply this year. Loves beating his man.
THE RATIONALE: This is a tough one. The Saints are keen on Jones' teammate, Billy Hartung, too. But he's a desperately competitive, onballer who knows how to shut down a player and generate plenty of the ball for himself.
THE COMPLICATION: Jones is around the mark for Sydney and Geelong, so many be gone. That would bring Hartung, or even Acres, into play.

Boyd
In the biggest draft mistake in history GWS call the name of Boyd but then the wrong player number.
They have called the player number of a nobody called Boyd.
The GWS recruiters have highlightly the wrong Boyd on their sheet.
They then take Kelly with pick number two.

Alert St Kilda recruiters surprising call for extra time.
They have realised GWS mistake and call the name of Boyd and the correct player number.
Only now do GWS recognise their mistake.
They plead with Demetriou to start agaoi.
Demetriou pleads with St Kilda who magnanimously agree if all other clubs allow.

But wait, someone has woken up Koch, who in his sleep deprived confusion think it is St Kilda who has made a mistake.
He demands that St Kilda must stick with their original pick, the draft can not be run.
Demetriou is forced to continue on with draft as it stands.
GWS miss out on the real Boyd.

Shocked by what has happened other club recruiters allow 2 top ten pick midfielders to slip.
They are both taken by alert St Kilda recruiters.

It is the best draft in St Kilda's history.
GWS sacks their recruiters
Everyone calls Koch a Koch.

I've been wanting Scharenberg this whole time but I'm a bit spooked about the foot issues.

Now I'm hoping for

Billings
Acres
Crouch

Would Love it if we could pick up Weller, Garlett and Jolly in the rookie draft as well.

Wouldn't have a clue mags just wanted to pin it to the board for comparisons sake. The potential picks are rattling around in my own brain atm and other posters just keep adding to the din with their own predictions.
Last night i was wondering about P.Cripps and this morning learn that Carl could take him @ # 13.
This morning someone on here suggested Taylor may well slide down and possibly to us.

Wild times!

GO SAINTS! :D
