MUST WIN GAMES

Carlton & Collingwood and then Melbx2 as a bonus.
Ah well thinking with my heart but it can be easily done
just go along to see St. Kilda in Preliminary Final 1
Always more important to me that we beat our fellow foundation clubs - Carlton, Collingwood Essendon, Melbourne, etc. The only one we didn't beat last year was our Albert Park Lake preimership rival, the Swans.
Beating Richmond at the G is another one which is important to me.
Should beat Hawks this year - we have a vested interest in their downfall this year after all.
Your friendly neighbourhood samurai.

Nothing definite but there was one journo said he was coming to the Saints. http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/afl ... 1af1856bd1magnifisaint wrote:Who says O'Shea is being drafted by the Saints?
The retirement of Chips, Demps almost certainly on his last year and being injured for some of last year, at 193 O'Shea could be used as the ready-to-go 3rd tall. Gilbo is heading towards the end of his career and been a bit injury prone (although good recently), Robbo plays more as rebounding flanker, Coughlan and Goddars have got a ways to go.Of O’Shea, who is expected to move to St Kilda...
If Richo thinks he can pinch a flag next year or the year, O'Shea would make some sense as he's got the size, big body and games experience that Richo seems to be wanting to increase instantly. We could take him with our third pick in the draft, or even rookie him but that would be unlikely.
Re: 16 or so wins
Yeah cos it was Sincs 2nd year and Richo was unwilling to experiment or rotate the squad much last year. The danger of bringing big body guys in is they can stifle development of other younger players - just look at Lyon's track record. You only have so many spots on your list and in your first 22. Eli's already been squeezed out. That is the opportunity cost and risk brining these guys in.#gosaintas wrote:Carlisle, Brown, Stevens and O'Shea aren't keeping Sinclair out of the side. None of them even played last year and he was out of the side. Only one of them will play in the midfield next year. If he can't force his way into our midfield then he's just not that good.
Sinclair has something special. In the finals for Sandy he was the one player who was constantly creative, opening up play with clever decisions and hitting up team mates. He is one of those players where time seems to stay still when he has the footy. But he doesn't have the size Richo wants with Gresham already in our first 22.
