THREE games into his senior AFL Career, and I'm prepared to cut "nosey" a wee bit of slack. Yes, indeed it could have been a case of "home turf fever" Premium89. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt, for at least another game or two.

Re: Matt Parker!!!!!
one of the good things about our list is its evenness . We have many like for like replacements, so should use this to our advantage by pressure for spots or only playing 100% fit guys. In the case of Parker, Long would be a logical like for like. We may not have a lot of top end talent, but we have a wide band of B grade talent with some likely to go A this season.thejiggingsaint wrote: ↑Tue 09 Apr 2019 9:08pmTHREE games into his senior AFL Career, and I'm prepared to cut "nosey" a wee bit of slack. Very lucky but deserves to redeem himself. I'm tipping a big game.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Re: Matt Parker!!!!!
Needs to perform if he makes the 22. Could still come out for Longy.
If he doesn't he will go back to Sandy and kick a bag. He's gonna be one of those.

Re: Matt Parker!!!!!
I know I'll get 'howled' at for this, but the way he's playing is eerily reminiscent (to me) of McQualter in 2009/2010.
He seems to me (at least) as having been designated as a 'defensive' forward whose role is to apply maximum pressure to the backline 'distributors' of the opposition. His own disposal stats seem to be almost irrelevant.
Any goals he gets almost seem to be a 'bonus'.
His defensive work combined with Long and Lonie is exhilarating to watch.
There were a number of times that their combined manic and speedy pressure made the opposition 'nervous'.

Blackened Dermies eye at training, elbowed him in the eye as he came down from a mark! Has to get at least another game for that alone!
