Re: Saints trade blunders
Jack Steven traded to Geelong for pick 37 in the 2019 draft.
Steven finished second behind Rhys Stanley in the Cats B&F during their 2020 Premiership season and was nominated for the All Australian squad.
StKilda used pick 37 to recruit a promising mature bodied 18 yr old key defender from the WAFL who after rigorous tests was cleared of any ongoing issues from his 4 knee reconstructions, multiple concussions, and 3 shoulder recos, whilst he was also cleared of previous issues with mental health, diabetes and leprosy.
Unfortunately all those conditions re-emerged simultaneously during the 2020 pre-season.
After finally succumbing to home sickness he was medivaced back to Fremantle at the end of the 2020 season in exchange for pick 96 and StKilda to pay his full salary till 2025.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
