We are playing terrible in a practice match. It means nothing or if it did the swans wouldnt have won a flag in 2006.
So what if its a practice match, means st kilda has no depth once again.
No it doesnt. It may mean they are more advanced than us.

Through the haze of a bottle of red we seem slow. But it is only the NAB Cup. It means SFA.
Nb. we sre coming back but it still means SFA.

Any danger of the commentators providing some information like who kicked the goal or what the free kick was for which wasn't caught on camera or replayed.

Referring to Geary goal.

If we won it means little and if we lose it means as much. Why be stressed about a practice game. How did Geelong go the year they won the flag?

lol nice decision their by the umpire.

Rischetelli throws the ball away during the tackle then gets the free for holding the ball.

- Umpires seem like they're paying approx 1 free kick a minute; this pbly the most over officiated game in the world... whoever gets the frees gets the goals and late in the 2nd 1/4 Bris just got free after free

- Saints completely dominating possession in the backline and look hopeless moving forward...
Yet another game where the saints can't manage more than 1 goal in a 1/2 of footy
Especially dismal effort considering we're dominating the ruck (cue Barks4ever)

- Eddy's off injured in bizarre circumstances

Standouts for the Saints
-Raph Clarke looked pretty good to half time, a few mistakes including one pisspoor helicopter kick in the first 1/4. Has very good ball handling skills in the wet

-Matt Maguire has looked alright. A few spoils, a few marks, has competed well

-Milne's tried hard but generally ineffective

-Dal's possession has been immaculate but he hasn't gotten much of it

- Ray is working very very hard and seems to be every where. Needs to improve his tackling

-Gardiner has worked his way into the game, reaction time is a bit slow but he's doing okay

Poor

- Skills have been piss poor. Missing way too many targets by hand. I know it's wet but geez it's still a poor effort.

- Hoping for more from Gilbert up forward.

Come on Saints, big effort in the 2nd half. I don't care if we don't win but I'd like to see us play at least 15min of good footy
Milne is poor, have you ever seen anyone fall over as much...ffs he's not playing soccer, maybe he should be

fwiw why was Goddards goal not called a super goal?

played on and kicked it from 52 meters out?

umpires are giving us a raping.

That was 20 seconds after Geary ran down a Lion from behind who just handpassed or dropped the ball out of bounds.

At least we SAW something to hang our hat on that qtr - that to me is what these games are about.

Try a few things and give some kids a go.

Goddard HAS the aggression to go fwd for sure,....he can KICK and mark but what do you lose out of the midfield?

Raph Clarke looks as fumbly as ever.

Ball needs to do more.

Rucks look good in tandem - will cause sides a problem if they get a free injury run for a while.

Heyne's everywhere! Needs to improve his disposal a bit.

Milney back to business.

Nick Heyne looks like he will be a good player for us.
He's done some really nice things, whilst his disposal has been a little wayward. He took a nice mark running with teh flight of the ball.
