saintbrat, are u sure it said you had to register to check the Niners one? I was just on the Broncs one ok, as a guest.

couple of replies so far - one guy asked if aussie rules was like rugby. I replied no, its highly skilled, etc!!

Another dude laughed at us being called the Saints (New Orleans arent top of the pops in Niner Nation...lol)
defintely said register- nop biggie

he can laugh - given they are 'Denver" Broncos in "Boulder -Colorado"

The Broncos are probably saying: "man, who are these pasty white guys".

Does anyone know if the Broncos are planning a reciprocal visit to our magnificent facilities down in Seaford?

It's kind of weird that you know that but I can see why the Saints really wanted Mitch Brown. Taking the long term view for the father son pick.

Thanks very much Bratty, really enjoyed that video link - especially the appreciation of how far a top team will go in preparation.

Good to see that the Saints are smashing it from a media perspective at the moment. Producing heaps of content and it's actually pretty well-produced and interesting. Luke Holmesby isn't the best interviewer going around but he does OK, and overall the PR department seems to be making it count. Can only help with keeping supporters engaged and building profile for sponsors.

Rebecca Trbojevich has left as the club is doing a "reshuffle" of the media department. Vanessa Gigliotti & Bree Gallagher are now in charge of the media department.

The Broncos coach is verbose. They really sound like they are getting a lot out of our visit.

Looking at Trav's list of our touring party support staff... not sure why we need No 8...?
or are there a couple of other clubs also training somewhere in da US right now as well...?

Agreed, Sam D writes very well. Should he fail to make it as an AFL footballer, which I can't see happening (eat your hearts our Effndum, how many chances was it again that you missed to get him? ),
then I reckon there'd have to be plenty of other stuff that he could do successfully for a career.

Who's our club commedian wearing the bison head gear? Love it!
Anyone know if he managed to keep it on for the whole of the first training hike?
That would have been impressive.
If he managed again for the whole of the next day's six hour hike... now that would be really impressive...
If he's not currently regular first 22, I'd give him a round 1 spot for such an effort... and maybe his own TV show(!)

It's Dave, man. Will you open up? I got the stuff with me! -------Who?
Dave, man. Open up ------------------------------------------ -----Dave???
Yeah, Dave. ---------------------------------------------------------Dave's not here.

Dave pretty sure not all of that training list have travelled.
there are around 25 + the team over there- but that includes some corporatess and the media staff- atleast 3 I've seen named / reporting.

the Bisson Hat early days was Sam F
I wondered if it was one of the Wheel of misfortune type things- if you..... then you wear the hat...
and the Big hikes are still to come- atleast it's not snowing...

Not sure how its weird champ, she is a professional sportswoman in her own right. And was discussed quite regularly on here as she too was a Melbourne girl with one year on her WA contract also. As for father sons, very promising, especially if she popped out twins!!

Found Milney's roommate
http://www.saints.com.au/news/newsartic ... fault.aspx
I’m rooming with Stephen Milne which has been a good experience. He’s a funny man and our room connects with Lenny Hayes and Jack Steven as well so I’m getting to know a couple of senior boys.

The experienced boys have been great, they’re always there for any questions and anything that can help me along the way and the new draftees as well.

You can go up to anyone here and it’s just a great group and everyone is happy to talk to you.

Having said that, Milney’s not happy with my sleeping patterns at the moment and he gave me a bit of stick about my snoring. I’m finding there’s a good reason he has the nickname Yapper but when we’re one on one he’s actually pretty quiet. He’s a nice bloke and I’m happy to be rooming with him
and video
http://www.saints.com.au/multimedia/tab ... fault.aspx

and open training. I see Aaron made the trip

Absolutely credit where credit is due Saints. It will take a while to determine if this training trip has been worth it from a playing/fitness/club morale perspective, fingers crossed it is, but right now from a media perspective I'm absolutely ecstatic at what the club has been dishing out. Well done St Kilda.
