if we get pick one and get boyd because of trading and passing on picks that'll leave us then with a pick in the 20s
not going to get a gun midfielder that way

just forget about pick one imo
stay with pick 3
the chances of getting pick 2 are slim as well
unless the dees beat two sides in the run home and we lose every game left

its going to be pick 3 because the dees will makes sure they get pick 2
gws will take boyd
melb will take aish :( :(
we'll end up with sharonberg maybe

If Wright is tackling him he hasnt the longest arm in the history of the world.

Im thinking Ill take either Aish or Scharenberg very very happily....

Aish looks like a long termer - Scharenberg looks already mature bodied and ready to go - which would suit us and Melbourne...

If GWS keep pick 1 - I wouldnt be surprised if they took Scharenberg instead of Boyd given they have two fwds already and could do with a mature bodied utility like Scharenberg...

The 'experts' on bigfooty seem to have those three in various orders. Wouldn't be surprised if Aish goes at 3 with Scharenberg at 2 - or higher. Scharenberg looks ready to go right now from the footage I've seen. That would be tempting for any team but particularly GWS and Melbourne.

what would people think if we took Sheed with pick 3 ?? that kid can seriously play footy but i think he will be overlooked in the top 5 and may become the steal of the draft

Cute. whatever the few instances were (that you refer to) that compelled you to conclude that Scott Watters is useless.
I thought so.

Thinking today - just trade to get pick 1.

Lock away a KPP forward, get them developing. Hardest to find and draft.

Then pack up with midfielders.

He's talked about between 4 and 20- I don't think anyone know where he should sit. Billings is the other one he's anything from a worthy top 4 draft prospect or a top 15 depending on who you talk to. He's a midget half forward but super talented.

Sheed is a gun and would suit us though.

What about Joe Daniher?

For the clean bombers surely the AFL will allow them to exit there current contracts and enter the draft

same here
I am not convinced GWS would take Boyd at all & we certainly need him more than gWs,
so do the deal that would make it so

melbourne has requested a priority pick before the main draft....likely to get it too....so we may only get pick 4....sheed or kelly would then be the options for us......
