What do we offer? And I think he loves his home state.
But what do we give freo, not what do we give Fyffe?

Re: This Years Draft.
You'd think our first round pick if we wanted to chase him would all we would have they may want.plugger66 wrote:CURLY wrote:a club has saud theyll offer 1.1 mill which is 500j more than the Dockers.plugger66 wrote: What do we offer? And I think he loves his home state.

Better still would be a Roo clone, but without the goal kicking glitches
I would seek out Cam Mc carthy that GWS picked up last year- he must know he's a long way behind Patton, Boyd, Cameron etc. Then they have a raft of taller backline players too. He went in the top 10 I think. Offer him a key forward post as soon as his first contract expires. Teams don't really stop transfers to desired clubs these days.
Re: This Years Draft.
We arent getting Fyffe but if it was a choice of giving away a first round pick for Fyffe or taking a punt on a young tall then surely its fyffe every single time.
Re: This Years Draft.
It wouldn't be us. Even though he isn't a free agent, didn't the management say we won't be looking to a lure a big name for 2 years?

Re: This Years Draft.
Spot on noob. We've just spent two years getting player payments down to more realistic levels. We're hardly likely throw that away on one player.
Most are in agreement that we'll finish bottom three again. Like last year, we won't trade our first pick. Having not had access to early draft picks for years Pelchan will guard a top three pick with his life.
Isn't this years draft meant to have some quality talls? I'd say that's what we'll be targeting. Free agents won't come into the equation until the kids we're drafting have 50 games into them ie another two or three seasons.

Pick 14 - yeah not a bad idea. But I think he would have a 2 year contract and GWS will just be hoarding their talent.gringo wrote:saintbob wrote:Clones of Boyd and Patton is what we desperately need.

It's well know 50+ games and they really come on - look at Steven
Drink deep at draft, trade what we can- end of year Gwilts..... Gilbert's ....all looked at
Delist that cabbage TDL (what a terrible selection I never got)
And go for "need only" big name when we are set to blossom.
