Let's wait until we see their school ties. Pyke might be up against it though.

Played cards way to early on this one. Hannebury played an ordinary final and wasn't great to finish the year , but had already been offered an excessive deal from StKilda.

2019 2nd round pick or later 2nd rounder if we trade for one this season AT MOST for an injury prone 28 year old former top liner. no way 1st rounder or even comp pick

They may as well bring Tom Lee back too. Another reactive, short-term decision at best and that's if Hannebery's body holds up. Obviously the last 5 years have taught them nothing. The club is being run by amateur fools that are fast-tracking it to oblivion.

Send Plugger down with Hanners. We need a new goal kicking coach at Moorabbin.

Depends what he is offered and for how long but we are getting a busted player passed his prime. Dont get me wrong I hope he plays for the next 5 years and is a gun but I cant see him changing his game i.e. not going in hard at everything. Just think it is silly as well

We all hope he goes fantastic but he has been down this year for sure. Most players coming in on his dough are at the top of their game and as fit as a buck rat but he doesnt look like that based on watching him on TV.

If we pick up Hanneberry, it will be a blunder even greater than any of the recent ones people on this forum have been howling about. This is a diabolical move. If he was a free agent, then fine, but to give up valuable draft picks for a busted up midfielder whose form has deteriorated significantly in the past two seasons is madness. This could be a defining moment, and not the positive variety. If this fails as I expect it will, it will send this club even further into the mire.

Usually only get filth. Bombres are way too smug to bother with us, unless it's prepubescent.

It s about a done deal, but I am not sure how the picks to Sydney would work. We dont have a lot.

Chico is definite Filth - Scollop hit a nerve about the Filth and Chico came flying in all guns blazing. Read his posts and you will soon see filth oozing out.

There's one rumour that says we're looking to trade Luke Dunstan to Port for a second round pick, which Sydney would ultimately get in exchange for Hannebery.

Would prefer McCartin for Hannebery straight swap. Both have body issues. McCartin younger and can develop with his brother for the post Franklin era. Hannebery proven champ if his body gets right but only 3 - 5 years left.

Interesting hypothetical. With McCartin's brother already at Sydney, it actually seems plausible.

Banged up and 15 games with fewer than 20 possessions this season. He's contracted for another three years with the Swans and I'm not surprised they to want to move him on given this season's output.

This is not the big fish we are looking for.

You should be definitely suspended for baiting, it is a wonder the administrator hasnt stepped in and straightened you out or should I ring one of my friends in Smith street to knock on your door late at night whilst you are abusing people on your keyboard?

He has played 208 games so far and he might not see out 5yrs. He has had a lot of tough games in that time.
