What was the last good game we played?
I would confidently argue round 9 versus the Swans.
Since then it’s been disappointing wins against poor teams and some very disappointing losses against a mix of good and bad sides.
It seems like we’ve gone away from what was working so well in the first half of the year.

I think we've really, really missed Gresh, and opposition has tape on us now and has figured our early season tricks out.

We lost to Brisbane in Brisbane by 3 points so while we were down still pushed them.

Re: What was the last good game we played?
I think the game where Ratten said in the press conference that the team isn't using Brad Hill and need to learn that.
Personally, I don't care if Brad Hill got 0 disposals and the team won.
It made the team too Brad Hill conscious instead of just moving the ball at pace which it was doing till then. Brad Hill's a luxury if this team is playing well. The issue with Hill then and to an extent now is that he sits behind play waiting for a backward handball or kick to then set it up.
I've rarely seen him run in front to the goal square. So, his value is in a different setting when things are difficult in front not when the gameplan is to run ahead.

Re: What was the last good game we played?
After the Geelong game, we went off the boil slightly, as Geelong worked out Ratt's game and other coaches are applying similar tactics- slow our game down and we struggle a bit. I suppose the PA and Richmond wins would be our best.

Lol. You are on a fan forum demanding excellence from the team you support. 'Livin the dream'. Hopefully next week you can tell us all about your half time rev up in the lounge room, that gets the boys over the line. The Fireman wrote: ↑Sun 06 Sep 2020 10:13pmCorrect. No I'm talking about what should be expected from a supporter of a team... in your case it's low.CQ SAINT wrote: ↑Sun 06 Sep 2020 10:23pmLol. I.would have thought the word supporter was simple enough to understand, given the first 7 letters. I missed Super Supporter level on the membership form. Demands and excellence sound like great benefits. Teams have worked us out by zoning deep defensively to not allow the goals from close range. We have to find another way or be more accurate from distance.
