Quite a funny guy, Tom Hickey

Post: # 1882329Post Cordz2 »

“Having a kid changes your perspective on life a bit," Hickey told Trade Radio.

"I think anyone who has a kid knows how much fun it is to fly with them for five-and-a-half hours back home.

"That was a big part, being a bit closer to grandparents and family."

Good luck at a 4th state to play with - had any other player in history covered the country like Tom Hickey in their career?

Yeah - it was a good interview. You can see why he'd be one of those blokes in a club that everyone likes.

And correct - he's the first player to have played for a club homed in 4 separate States.

Johanthan Giles was on the list of clubs in four different states but never played a senior game for Port.

Assuming he gets a game, Hickey will be the first to play for teams based in 4 different states.

Four clubs and almost forty years - reminds me of Jacko...and how times and culture has changed.
