Humiliation
Coaching and playing
Some of the match ups have been laughable
Some of the efforts disgraceful

Yes, a piss weak effort
Why was Coffield (for the second time) opposed to 196cm 100kg Hooker

Re: Humiliation
This is truly disgusting. An abject humiliation. I can’t even express my anger.
If we don’t win, all my suspicions about where we are as a footy club are confirmed.
I’ve heard people talk about our “depth”. List cloggers and VFL standard players aren’t “depth”.
Club’s credentials as a credible football club hinge on the next hour and whether we can get up, haul this lead in and win.
Lose this and we need a thorough conversation into how we’ve imploded so completely and so quickly, with so many players out of form.

Re: Humiliation
I’m glad the players had all week to stew on their crap performance against Melbourne. Now they can all have a week off and play our seconds. Surely they are desperate

Re: Humiliation
Probably the worst half of footy I've seen from a St.Kilda side in nearly 60 years & I've seen a lot of bad ones . No run no effort pathetic really & playing an undermanned team. I don't know what else to say it's so demoralising to see how far we have fallen in such a short time

Re: Humiliation
That’s a very good question. We’ve got two 6 ft 6 key defenders, Wilkie as the third tall and Coffield as the rebounding half back. Didn’t they notice how well Coffield played that role last year?
Opinions are like arseholes, everybody's got one.

Re: Humiliation
When will the humiliation end .
That was probably one of the worst essendon sides we have ever played and a side that will finish bottom six this year !
SO WTF does that say about us .
Three rounds in and the season is effectively over .
Maybe Ratts can get the team firing but playing the eagles and tiges in the next 2 rounds we'll probably be 1 and 4 with no chance of making finals .

Good to see them high-fiving and patting each other on the back after kicking a goal to go only 70 points down!

Re: Humiliation
Where's our next win?
I cannot see it.
At all.
At the moment, there's not one team that is as bad as we've been these last 2 wks.
Even Norf will beat us

Re: Humiliation
We'll lose every game for a while, and stay 15th until Rd 13, when GWS play Norf- if GWS win, they climb above us.
Between now and then, Blues n Giants won't win unless there's a massive upset.
That's a positive, right?
We face Norf in Rd 11, and based on current form, I ain't confident

Re: Humiliation
Tony74, please, what's going on. There is such a negative change from 2020 finals, GWS win and now last two very poor losses. The arse has fallen out so quickly, so many that can play now cant play, what's happened? Is Roughy still coaching forwards?

Re: Humiliation
That disgusting effort took me back to our horrible games of the '80s. Lots of party boys running around not getting their hands dirty. The president should be laying down the law to the football dept this week.
Re: Humiliation
I'd like to see individual players front the camera and explain to the fans why they couldn't be bothered putting in a effort. If there is dissatisfaction within the ranks the coach and football dept. need to address the issues. As fans we only ask for effort for three hours a week and are let down by these insipid performances. Coach - fix it. We've all seen how well they play, we're supposed to have depth. you really have no excuses. Please don't say you rely on individual players as its a team game.
