Some things never change
The dogs (the most looked after team since 2015!) sit atop the free kick ladder
We sit second bottom
Joel Selwood has the most free kicks - again

If King got paid the chopping arms free that Naughton got paid on the weekend he would kick 10 goals a game ...... or 10 points ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

Re: Some things never change
An envy filled discussion that achieves nothing.
The Dogs deserve the position they are in and I'm guessing most fair minded sports lovers and Saints supporters would wish them well.
We possibly gifted them another flag the day we let Josh Bruce walk to them.

I really like Josh Bruce and was sad to see him go, but I don’t think he has set the world on fire at the Doggies.
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

He wasn't recruited to set the world on fire, he was recruited to give a young and developing key tall forward a chop out...sound familiar.happy feet wrote: ↑Wed 30 Jun 2021 10:27pmI really like Josh Bruce and was sad to see him go, but I don’t think he has set the world on fire at the Doggies.
Aaron Naughton wants you to know he is eternally grateful.

Re: Some things never change
Question wasn’t whether they deserve to be a good side
It was do they deserve the amount of free kicks they get?!

The Doggies have been looked after for a number of years now...Got them a flag in 2016.
It almost swung the elimination final last year, too.
They get iffy frees and are rarely penalised for infringements.

Bruce is not the difference of winning or losing a flag....won't find a spot for himself when the young guns (includes Darcy) have more experiencehappy feet wrote: ↑Wed 30 Jun 2021 10:27pmI really like Josh Bruce and was sad to see him go, but I don’t think he has set the world on fire at the Doggies.

Re: Some things never change
It doesn’t matter whether they deserve the free kicks or not. The fact is that they have got them. And there ain’t nothing anyone you, i or anyone else can do about it.
And they will probably keep getting them. Past behavior usually dictates future behavior. We all now that.
