Ordinary effort
Regardless of result
Tim Kelly and Elliott Yeo outs
The 40th player on their list playing
Beat by 170 last week!
And we sneak home by 8 points
Yeah, great performance

Glad I was proven wrong.
Doesn’t change the fact it was a sh*te performance against the team placed 18.
To say we dodged a bullet is an understatement.

How did you rate the performance Magic?

How did I rate it?
I’m just a supporter so I’ll take the win.
It’s not like we win over there regularly is it?
But given your self professed football knowledge I’m sure you’ll school us all on how bad it was.

We just beat the worst team since Fitzroy 96
They didn’t know how to win
We were poor - if I was Ross - I’d make 4 changes

We kicked 12.13 against one of worst teams heading for a wooden spoon in recent years.
They still kicked 12.5, despite being beaten by 170 the previous week and this was they first time they kicked more than 6 goals since the bye.
If you find this win humbling, then no wonder the club is where it is currently.
Keep embracing mediocrity.

You should call/visit Ross Lyon and give him the benefit of your advice
I’m sure he’s waiting for it

Surely even the most loyal supporters can't be happy with that performance.

You were one of those saying it couldn’t possibly happen. What was it you said - at least 70 points.
How confident were you when we were 4 goals down.
Poor teams would embrace that win. Teams hungry for success would take the win but wound not accept the performance.

Getting personal again magic?!
Why don’t you give us your opinion of the performance
Not - I’ll take the win?!
How did they actually play?

Sorry sydneysainter but you are really starting to give me the s***s . You aren’t a real supporter, you do nothing but focus on the negative.. do me a favour and do it somewhere else.

A bit like the four losses from the last five games you posted about.

18 scoring shots to 6 after half time. Something worked.

Re: Where’s the arrogance of the “we can’t possibly lose crowd” now
To be honest…
We know we’re not a contender and need an overhaul
We have a lot of issues
We’ve generally done better than expected though stocks are dropping fast
And we’re hanging onto a spot in the 8
Ugly win… but I’ll take it.
The lesson is in making the hard decision with the players that are continually underperforming but are experienced enough and fit enough to do better

Mate with all due respect ,im 54 and have supported this club all my life.i just want to see them win a premiership and this current team aint going to deliver that with performaces like today.the most annoying thing is that imo we are a mile off it.Mr Magic wrote: ↑Sun 02 Jul 2023 8:45pmI didn’t say I was satisfiednobhead wrote: ↑Sun 02 Jul 2023 8:37pmSurely even the most loyal supporters can't be happy with that performance.

Before the season began we’re you expecting to be competing for the flag
The top 4?
The top 8?
I wasn’t

With all due respect, I have followed them a lot longer. I still have faith and accept that although tonight may not have been convincing we have been close to some of the best sides this season.nobhead wrote: ↑Sun 02 Jul 2023 8:58pmMate with all due respect ,im 54 and have supported this club all my life.i just want to see them win a premiership and this current team aint going to deliver that with performaces like today.the most annoying thing is that imo we are a mile off it.Mr Magic wrote: ↑Sun 02 Jul 2023 8:45pmI didn’t say I was satisfiednobhead wrote: ↑Sun 02 Jul 2023 8:37pmSurely even the most loyal supporters can't be happy with that performance.

I don’t see us as a Mile off , I see us as a Ruckman and midfield short of being a premiership team next year
