The fact we were still in with a chance to make the finals tonight is an indictment on the competition. No one can honestly build a case for us deserving to play finals this year.

Actually I think it's the worst top8 I've seen. I'll have a look back through the years and see if I can remember a worse top8. Geelong are head and shoulders above, and it would be an injustice if they didn't win the premiership, but that means jack in September.
