Id prefer to keep the first pick in the draft, for a 2nd rounder id love this deal.SYDNEY: Jude Bolton, Amon Buchanan and Adam Schneider could be for sale. Mattner will be handy running out of defence alongside Tadhg Kennelly and Nick Malceski.
If swans want more then pehaps we could offer to swap places in the first round (aka lose two places)
Schneider, who is contracted for two years, is being chased by St Kilda.
With Saints coach Ross Lyon a former Sydney assistant, his inside knowledge could get the deal done.

we dont need him.
would rather keep draft picks.
He is a proven player. Draft picks are lottories. Depending on the trade we must chase him.loving_the_dal wrote:would prefer not to get him.SaintBot wrote:Schneider, who is contracted for two years, is being chased by St Kilda.

IMO he is an outside running player who more or less tops things off in a good side
Saying that i can only remember him playing 1 half of quality football in his career, unfortunately that half was a pre limanery final against us.
GOP imo, could easily make do without him
Id rather keep our pick, unless we can ship off a couple lesser like players like a ferguson or a gwilt (if he hasnt gone to WCE for Cox )

Schneider is hard & quick.Wouldn't he compliment our midfielders coming off the bench?Lack of rotations in the middle cost us games(last quarter fadeouts). Not sure about Guilt.Has height & is quick but not hard enough. Can that be taught?Fergus Watts should replace Fraser in the goal square.Has height and is a great mark, but they didn't try him once this year.Does anyone think that Kosi can play an Adam Goodes role next year. He's a better mark , probably mobile enough but has he got the engine .

Now im no Milne advocate but Milney's stats are pretty good.CURLY wrote:Schneider>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Milne
How many 50 goal seasons has Schnieder had before??
Milne gives us value for money, as i couldnt imagine he would be on that much. If he gets 1 to 2 goals a game as a minimum thats a good result.
mistakes a plenty, we are in need of new faces.riccardo wrote:Milne was #1 for clangers at the club this year, thats a fairly damning stat in my book.
A less "adventurous" goal kicker may be a good option, he wouldn't get caught holding it so often trying to play on.
sammy its time to go

I think at least one player and at least one draft pick must be included in any trade.older saint wrote:I read in the herald sun it was going to be a straight player swap, no picks, although dod not mention the player from StKilda's end.
We do need smaller players who can kick goals though?

milne also had the most ground time for 2007 of any st kilda player.
shneider, age 23,

stats look impressive for a midfielder half forward. throws a few tackles as well. way better than jude bolton, much smarter choice IMO.
Dean Cox, age 26
/salivate, 5 years left, second best career ruckman in the competition behind spider and 10 times the attitude. Only thing I'd be worried about is injuries.
milne in the FP and shneider on the HFF/wing sounds like a fair combination.
sadly we can only trade our pick 9 once...
