where to now for Rix? (And Brooks!)
With Steven King coming and Michael Gardner ready to play in 08 Looks like Rix/Brooks will be "bye bye" shame really as they're both honest grafters.
Unfortunately Rix is about twenty five years too late to be a ruck star.
Good luck to the both of them

at brooks has the tools to make the grade, rix is VFL standard, in fact he struggled at VFL level this year.
Personally I believe they will wait a few weeks to see how gards pulls up.

was talking to Gardy's old man yesterday and he said that gardy's is feeling pretty good, running laps of Albert Park, enjoying melbourne and seemed really positive.
But that's just his old man!

if we were to pick up gardiner from geelong and delist Watts who now might get an opportunity with gehrig's retirement then you know for sure that the wheels have well and truly fallen offplugger66 wrote:Brooks is now out and I would think that Watts may be in a little trouble as well.

and Brooks struggling against a wet lettuce would get my nod before gardiner, who can't kick over a jam tim
I'll just assume that this was just another numbnut observation from you
DO THE MATHS AND THE SQUARES ARE ALL ROOTED.
Well we will wait and see. You never give us anything and I try to give things that I have heard. I may be wrong but I doubt Brooks will be at the club next season.barks4eva wrote:if we were to pick up gardiner from geelong and delist Watts who now might get an opportunity with gehrig's retirement then you know for sure that the wheels have well and truly fallen offplugger66 wrote:Brooks is now out and I would think that Watts may be in a little trouble as well.
