St.Kilda V Freo rd 9 on Fox Sports Now

Post: # 502615Post Armoooo »

Wow this would have to be the weakest lineup we have sent out in a few years...
fb: Attard Gwilt Baker
hb: L.Fisher S.Fisher Dal Santo
c: Fiora Birss Montagna
hf: Gilbert Riewoldt Kosczhitzke
ff: Milne Gehrig Voss
r: M.Clark Ball Hayes
i/c: Gilbert Blake McQualter Rix

That lineup severely struggles, Freo should be ashamed of themselves for not making that team suffer....

McQualter is making me wonder why we rookied him, gets an uncontested mark on the wing, kicks it about 20 meters to a freo player out on his own... I would advise you to not tune in if you have a weak stomache...

ROBERT HARVEY A.K.A The Great Man, Banger, Harves, Ol' Man River...
384 games, 4 B&F's, 3 EJ Whitten Medals, St.Kilda Captain, 2 Time Brownlow Medalist, 8 Time All Australian, 2nd Highest Brownlow votes poller.... The greatest of ALL TIME!!

Lol, I sure am
Usuallky tends to happen on school holidays, usually takes longer though

I must say though Armitage has impressed me this game, I didn't see most of this game but his run through the middle and grunt was quite impressive, I'm slightly more optimistic about him than I was 12 hours ago :D :D :D

My mistake, Montagna wasn't playing, Harvey went down before I started watching

It's a tough call IMO....

Out: Montagna Sweeny Howard
In: Hayes Clark McQualter

It really depends which of those 2 combos you think are worse...

You would probably be right
Sweeny and Howard had a combined 11 touches 3 marks to
Clark and McQualter's 12 touches and 4 marks

2 of the worst weeks St.Kilda have had in recent years...

Yeah I agree, we had a fair chance to win both matches though, we seemed to be in a position to win most matches excluding the Essendon, Geelong and Kangaroo's game.

When you factor in the horrid injury run we had in the first half of the season to the fact that we were the third best performed team in the second half of the season with 8-1-2 out of our last 11 games things are looking pretty good.
Especially when you add King, Schneider, Gardiner, Hayes, Ball and Kosi into the equation...

i saw on the foxtel guide that game was on, but as if i am going to stay up until 4am to watch a crap game like that. Foxtel is yet to show a winning saints game!
and that freo v saints game, was that the one when riewoldt kicked something like 1.5.11? all i remember is that he had a shocking night

"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

In the second and third quarters, St Kilda kicked 4.12

In the second and third quarters, Fremantle kicked 4.3

We were 8 points down five minutes before the end of the third quarter.

We should have been 3 goals in front.

We should have won that game.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Correct if Roo and Lenny could have kicked straight we would have been looking good...
