Saintsational vs Demonland/Demonology.
Gidday all.
I know we have just had a thread posted about forum game venues so its good timing for this announcement.
A melbourne bloke rang me last night to suggest a rematch from our earlier contest in October.
They have proposed mid Feb, perhaps the 17th (though nothing is yet confirmed, that appears the front runner).
We may approach the Pies for a game before that on the 20th or some such date, but this other match is definitely a goer.
For those unaware of the drill.
These are social games between the fan forums of two different teams, where people come together to get the chance to represent their club colours for a day.
Anyone is welcome, no discriminations on age, size, gender or ability.
4 x 25 minute quarters are the go, the venue I guess remains up in the air, but Glenferrie probably winning at this stage.
Bring water, saints jumpers etc etc. If ya don't have them then a saints shirt, or even a black shirt will do.
We will have a post match BBQ as well thanks to the tremendous efforts we always get from volunteers on both sides and I encourage you all to come along and get to know your fellow sainters, as well as some of the great blokes from demonland/demonology.
So who's keen.

congratulations on your recent win against the filth...
the next challenge is to retain the "big carl" trophy against demonland/demonology on february 17...
our former captain/coach - hards - is back. Skinny guy and prone to injury, but a real inspiration for us, so be afraid...
HD, let us know soonest if we can play at the park instead of glenferrie, so we can insure that we don't split our guys between venues...
perennial footy question: if we manage to beat you guys by 1 goal, does this make us a 30-goal better team than the filth supporters ??
big carl came to me in a dream last night - he wants to come home...

Does that mean that Whispering Jack and Scoop have been 'boned'?
I think we treated gosch's park the same as we treated glenferrie, no booking, just rock up and play. and there is absolutely no way in the world we can play at glenferrie, went for a run there last week...atrocious.rollinson 65 wrote:

Gosch's over glenferrie any day!
"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."
