Hopefully zero. If he gets this job for a season we would never see him play given his and other past captains injury potential.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

[Quote}Justin case for captaincy
If St Kilda wants to get the best out of Justin Koschittzke this eason, perhaps it should make him captain.
The young ruckman- forward has captained the side four times - in three games in 2005 when nick riewoldt was injured , and on saturday against geelong. His stats from these four games tell only part of the story
Round 15 vs Carlton- 23 disposals, 11 marks 4.2
Round 16 vs Richmond - 16 disposals, 10 marks, 5.1
Round 17 vs Collingwood - 18 disposals, 10 marls, 5.2
NAB 2008 vs Geelong 10 disposals, 5 marks, 5.1
in the three games in 2005 Koschitzke polles the maximum nine Browmlow medal votes, while on saturday he was unanimously best-on- ground.[/quote]

I've always liked the idea of Kosi as captain, but IMO it will never happen, we have too many better candidates... as far as I can see Roo will lead the club for the next 6 or 7 years...

I've always wanted to see Kosi Captain the team for one year. He just seems to take the role upon his shoulders and then grab a game by the "scruff of the neck" and make it his own.
He seems to take the responsibilty upon himself to lead us to a win. Kosi is a more straightforward simplistic (NOT simple) country boy who knows what he has to do and just goes out there and does it!

Many of his best performances have been when he has been given the job and he rises to the occassion to perform his role. He's a bit "John Wayne-like" in this regard.

We all just want to see him stay fit and stay on the ground to restore his confidence in himself. This has been a great pre-season for him and I'm hoping his performances will reflect this in 2008. He can deliver anything and he certainly is one of the very best contested marks in the AFL. I just love watching him take those grabs against his opponents.

I think Kosi should be made Captain. The responsibility doesn't hinder his game, if anything it brings out his best. With the new set up and him being up forward he can settle in a position and take the extra responsibility.

Whereas I think Ball and Riewoldt's natural game seemed to be hindered.

I hate the co-captain thing.

Give it to Kosi.

Plays well in practice games and people want to make him captain. What is wrong with our current 2. Not much from what I see.
