Max NOT injured !!

Post: # 523092Post Eastern »

In ALL of the papers today the only injury to come out of the game was Fraser's calf. The vision I saw of Max's incident would have had me betting plenty that he has a grade 2-3 tear in the upper hamstring, meaning a 4-6 week rehab period.

The official line from the club is that he came off as part of the rotation which I find very difficult to believe.

If he's injured, he's injured and there is nothing that can be done to change what has hapened.

I suppose we will have to wait to find out the truth !!

They're speaking crap unless Max was acting. I wouldn't expect him to play before round 1-2 at best, but I'm certainly no doc

We do have 4 weeks before the first match, and I'd be shocked if Maxie wasn't ready by then.

Just hope they can get his hammys right so they last the whole season.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Yep ... These small injuries can be a blessing in disguise at this time of the year - gives the new fitness/med staff something to assess and manage.
